Update on 2016 Drug Arrest

UPDATE
The Drug Task Force comprised of Prowers, Baca, Kiowa, and Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Offices, have been conducting drug operations. This arrest was the outcome of one of the investigations.
On Wednesday, April 12, 2017, the Prowers County District Court sentenced Dashiel Bryant to 78 months in the Colorado Department of Corrections, with credit for 143 days already served in the Prowers County Jail. Bryant was also ordered to pay fees and costs associated with the case. Bryant is being held in the Prowers County Jail until her transport to CDOC.

The Drug Task Force comprised of Prowers, Baca, Kiowa and Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Offices, have been conducting drug operations over the course of the last year. This arrest is the outcome of one of the investigations.
On 11-21-16, the Prowers County Sheriff’s Office was able to obtain an arrest warrant for Dashiel Bryant, 26 YOA, of Lamar, for Unlawful Distribution, Manufacturing, Dispensing, or Sale of Methamphetamines, a Drug Felony 2, and Unlawful Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Methamphetamines, a Drug felony 4.
The charges are a result on an investigation where approx. 20 grams combined weight, of Meth, have been purchased over the course of a year from Bryant. Bryant was arrest on the warrant in the morning hours of 11-21-16, and being held on the $200,000 cash only bond.
There is 28.34 grams in an ounce, which has a street value of around $1,200.
All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
