Ervin L. Foster…October, 29, 1923 – November 6, 2016

A celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Ervin L. Foster will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Lamar United Methodist Church with Reverend Barbara Johns-Schleicher and Reverend Kathy Leathers co-officiating. Interment will follow in the Veteran’s Section of Fairmount Cemetery with Full Military Honors under the auspices of the local V.F.W. and American Legion Posts.

Visitation for Ervin will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.

Ervin was born on October 29, 1923 at McClave, Colorado to Roy Melvin and Cora (Petersen) Foster and passed away on November 6, 2016 at Lamar, Colorado at the age of 93.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one infant brother.

Ervin is survived by his wife, Alma Foster of the family home in Lamar; son, Roger (Debbie) Foster of Lamar and grandchildren Kevin and Jenna as well as cousins, other family and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar United Methodist Church and/or Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
