David Muniz…November 7, 1964 – October 13, 2016

Graveside Services for David Muniz will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the Elder Chapel in the Bent/Las Animas Cemetery, in Las Animas, Colorado. Pastor Diane Hutson will officiate.

David Muniz was born on November 7, 1964, to Raymond and Evangelia (Lucero) Muniz in Las Animas, Colorado, and passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 in Las Animas, Colorado, at the age of 51.

David was an extremely outgoing and happy soul, always willing to help everyone no matter the circumstance. David possessed a deep love for his children, two grandsons, family, and friends. He enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos and time spent fishing. He was greatly loved, and will be missed by all that knew him.

David is survived by his parents, Raymond Muniz and Evangelia Jimenez; daughters, Briaunna Muniz and Evangeline Muniz, both of Las Animas, Colorado, son, Javier Muniz of Pueblo, Colorado; grandsons, Alonzo and Alan Nieto-Muniz of Las Animas, Colorado; sisters, Debbie Muniz, Mary Lincon, Elizabeth Muniz, April Muniz, and Mona Muniz; brothers, Richard Muniz, Ray Ray Muniz, and Matthew Muniz; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Salvador and Eulalia Lucero; brother, Ramon G. Muniz; and sister, Rose Muniz.
