Johnny Gaucin, New Technology Coordinator for Lamar Public Library!

Johnny Gaucin

Johnny Gaucin is organizing one-on-one tutoring sessions and monthly computer classes for all library patrons, as well as spearheading the Library’s Spanish language programs. Johnny will also oversee the marketing and marketing strategies for the Library. He received his A.S. from Mt. San Jacinto College after serving in the United States Marine Corps as an Embarkation/Logistics Specialist. During his four year tour, Johnny was awarded two Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medals for his efforts in preparation for and execution during Operation Enduring Freedom.  Johnny enjoys playing basketball, watching a good T.V. series and is an enthusiastic Broncos fan. He currently resides in Wiley with his wife Jessica and their children Ezrie, Peyton and Jaxon.

Johnny brings fresh, new ideas and is very motivated! He is looking forward to meeting new members of the community and is willing to take any recommendations you may have regarding upcoming technology classes. We are so excited he has decided to join our team and we look forward to the things to come!
