Dornella Catherine Caddick…October 5, 1927 – July 13, 2016

A celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Dornella Catherine Caddick will be held at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Reverend Roy Gueswel officiating. Interment will follow at the Fort Lyon National Cemetery in Fort Lyon, Colorado.

Visitation for Dornella will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.

Dornella was born on October 5, 1927 at Springfield, Colorado to Sanford and Rachel (Fisher) Brisendine and passed away on July 13, 2016 at the Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver, Colorado at the age of 88.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Caddick, her parents and three brothers, Lynam Brisendine, Oswald and Arvill Hodges.

Dornella is survived by her children, Linda (Terry) Eder of Eads, CO; Gary (Nyleca) Caddick of Lamar; Eugene (Kathy) Caddick of Brighton, CO and Ronald (Rod) Caddick-Stone of Commerce City, CO; 8 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Neva Kirby of Pueblo, CO; Mary Barnes of Canon City, CO and Omer Brisendine of St.Joseph, MO as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends also survive.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
