Evelyn D. Horner…November 6, 1923 – April 2, 2016

A celebration of life for former Pritchett, Colorado resident, currently of Lamar, Evelyn D. Horner will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Springfield Cemetery in Springfield, Colorado.

Visitation for Evelyn will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 5:30PM until 7:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.

Evelyn was born on November 6, 1923 at Joy Coy, Colorado to John Walter and Susan Audrey (Ellis) Lynch and passed away on April 2, 2016 at The Legacy in Lamar at the age of 92.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Horner; her parents and three sisters, Opal Higgins, Alma Pearce and Ruby Whitman.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Dennis (Susan) Horner of Golden, CO; Vicki (Chris) Wilkinson of Lamar and Julian (Lana) Horner of Norman, OK; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
