Lamar Police Department announces hiring of new officer Louis Martinez

The Lamar Police Department is proud to have introduced the agency’s newest officer, Louis (Chad) Martinez during his swearing in before Lamar City Council on August 10th . Officer Martinez is a seasoned officer with 12 years previous experience. Officer Martinez started his
career in New Mexico before serving in El Paso County, Colorado where he also served as an Investigator in their SVU unit. Officer Martinez has also served most recently with the Prowers County Sheriff’s Office. Officer Martinez’s professionalism, experience and previous
distinguished service history will be a great addition to the Lamar Police Department.
