Audrey Mary Coats – June 3, 1927 – August 17, 2026

A visitation for lifelong Lamar, Colorado resident Audrey Mary Coats will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 9:00AM until 11:00AM at the Peacock Family Chapel. A private family burial will be held at Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar. A memorial service for Audrey will be held at a later date. 

Audrey was born on June 03, 1927 at Lamar, Colorado to Michael and Sadie (McKenney) Bachman and passed away on August 17, 2026 at the Prowers Medical Center with her family by her side at the age of 99.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Glen David Coats, brother Keith Bachman and sister Bernice Smith.

Audrey is survived by her son Michael (Seana) Coats of Taos, NM as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Library in Lamar either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
