Memorial Day Holiday Schedule announced for City of Lamar

MEMORIAL DAY 2026 HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

(May 25, 2026)- In observance of Memorial Day, most City of Lamar
offices will be closed on Monday May 25th.

Landfill– The City of Lamar Municipal Landfill will be CLOSED on
Monday 5/25 and reopen Tuesday 5/26 from 8:30am-3:30pm.

Residential Trash Pick -Up–
• Residential trash collection normally scheduled for Monday
5/25 will be picked up on Tuesday 5/26.
• Residential trash collection normally scheduled for Tuesday
5/26 will be picked up on Wednesday 5/27.

Commercial Trash Pick-up–
• Commercial trash collection normally scheduled for Monday
5/25 will be collected on Tuesday 5/26.
Cardboard Route
• Cardboard collection for Monday 5/25 will be collected on
Tuesday 5/26

Notice: May’s Free Dump Weekend is Saturday 5/30 8:30am -3:30pm and
Sunday 5/31 from 12:30pm – 3:30pm. 1 load limit per day at transfer station. All
other loads must go to the landfill.
