Carl Lee Smith – July 28, 1955 – May 19, 2026

Carl Lee Smith, 70, of Grand Island, NE passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 with his
wife by his side.

All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements; memorials are suggested to the
family for future designation.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Fairmount Cemetery in
Lamar, CO.

Carl was born on July 28, 1955 in Lamar, Colorado, son of LeRoy and Leah (Reifschneider) Smith. He was raised near Lamar and graduated from high school. He met the love of his life and best friend, Carol Osban, they were married on December 26, 1972.  The couple travel around the Midwest following different jobs and opportunities. They lived in Colorado, Missouri, Kansas, Idaho and settled in Grand Island, NE. Carl was skilled tinsmith and continued to educate himself when working with sheet metal.  He could fix anything and he could build anything.  He was a loving husband and friend.

Carl is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol; brother, Andrew Smith of Lamar, CO;
sisters, Shirley Smith of Lamar, CO, and Lisa Smith of AZ; many nieces, nephews and extended
family and friends. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dwight Smith and close uncle, Albert Reifschneider.

Services are under the direction of the All Faiths Funeral Home and Peacock Family.
