Rigo Yanez Rojas – December 29, 1981 – May 28, 2025

A celebration of life for longtime Lamar, Colorado Resident, Rigoberto Yanez Rojas, affectionately known to his family and friends as Rigo, will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, June 6, 2025 at the Peacock Family Chapel. Per Rigo’s cremation will follow the services.

A private family visitation for Rigo will be held at the Peacock Family Chapel.

Rigo was born on December 29, 1981 at San Marcos, Durango, Mexico to Miguel Yanez Fajardo and Beatriz Rojas and passed away on May 28, 2025 at the age of 43.

He is preceded in death by his parents, nephews Luis Carlos Yanez and Jazziel Garcia.

Rigo is survived by his wife Sherry Yanez of the family home in Lamar, children Rigo Julian Yanez, Adan Yanez, Deigo Yanez and Kiana Yanez all of Lamar, CO, siblings Cecilia (Hector) Martinez, Miguel (Rocio) Yanez and Luis (Marcela) Yanez all of Granada, CO, Maribel (Alfredo Mungaray) Yanez of Quinter, KS, Jesus Yanez of Juarez, Mexico and Daniel Yanez of Lamar, CO. He is also survived by his father-in-law Victor Garcia, mother-in-law Maximina Dominguez as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.

Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
