Richard Helfrich – February 23, 1947 – May 25, 2025

A graveside memorial service for longtime Coolidge, Kansas resident Richard Helfrich will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, June 04, 2025 at the Sunnyvale Cemetery south of Coolidge, Kansas. Following the service a gathering of family and friends will be held at the Helfrich Family farm.

Richard was born on February 23, 1947 at Syracuse, Kansas to Frederick Carl and Virginia Herbig (Wilt) Helfrich and passed away on May 25, 2025 at the Hamilton County Hospital in Syracuse, Kansas with his family by his side at the age of 78.

Richards pride and joy was running the family farm for many years and telling many stories.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings John “Jack” Helfrich, Nancy McBride, Margaret “Peggy” Helfrich, Judith “Judy” Helfrich and Robert “Bob” Helfrich.

Richard is survived by his wife Vicky Eads of the family home in Coolidge, KS, daughter Danielle (Kurt Kolar) Eads of Missoula, MT and granddaughters Hannah and Kaylyn Kolar. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of your choosing either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
