Constancia “Connie” Torrez – November 19, 1954 – May 26, 2025

A memorial service for lifelong McClave resident, Constancia Torrez, affectionately known to her friends and family as Connie, will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Pastor Travis Walker of the Wiley United Methodist Church officiating. Inurnment will follow at the McClave Cemetery in McClave, Colorado.

Connie was born on November 19, 1954 at La Junta, Colorado to John M. and Josephine (Munoz) Torrez and passed away on May 26, 2025 at her home in McClave, Colorado at the age of 70.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Connie is survived by her siblings, Rosalia Torrez of San Juan Island, WA, Hilbert (Gwen) Torrez of Rye, CO, Manuel (Alicia) Torrez of McClave, CO, Juanita (Mike) Hernandez of Lamar, CO, John (Pat) Torrez of Westminster, CO, Antonia Torrez of McClave, CO, Joe (Kathy) Torrez of Greeley, CO, James (Amanda) Torrez of Hasty, CO and Frank Torrez of McClave, CO. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Johnny, Kiel, Garrett, Angeleah, Jarrod, Carlos, Tina, Mandy, Ben, Chasity, Jaleesa, Ricky, Ronald, Eric, Alisha, Amber, Samantha, Jenna, Tyler and Ebony as well as numerous grand-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Southeastern Developmental Services either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
