Time for the Annual Holly Gateway Fair

There are a lot of activities and attractions for this year’s Holly Gateway Fair, running from Saturday, September 21st to the 28th.
Beef weigh-in and barrel racing both begin at 7pm on Wednesday, September 25th followed by the 1pm Goat Show on the 26th and the Swine Show that afternoon at 6:30pm.
More fun is on the way Friday, September 27th with the junior class breakfast served from 7 to 9am at the fairgrounds. The rabbit and poultry shows begin at 8:30am that morning with the sheep show at 9am and beef at 11am. The exhibit building will open to the public from 2pm to 5pm that Friday.
Parade entries will be judged beginning at 9am on Saturday, September 28th at the pool parking lots, this year’s theme for the 10am event is, “Tougher than the Rest”. A tractor pull exhibition starts at 1pm and Ranch Saddle Bronc Riding will be held at that time. The BBQ at the sale barn starts at 4:30pm, Royalty Presentation will be held at that time and the market animal sale begins at 6:30pm. Other activities that evening include the beef give-away (must be present to win), a concert and dance with music from Rhett Uhland will be featured, sponsored by TBK Bank.
