LCC Hosting Colorado Ag Commissioner, June 20th in Meet and Greet

Colorado Commissioner of Agriculture Kate Greenberg will visit Lamar and Lamar Community College, Thursday, June 20th for an evening meet-and-greet as one leg on several tours Commissioner Greenberg has made across Colorado. Intended stops include Colorado’s High Plains, San Luis Valley and Western Slope where she is meeting with local ranchers and farmers to hear their concerns.
Commissioner Greenburg intends to visit several regional agricultural businesses in both Prowers and Otero Counties and meet with those businesspeople whose operations depend on agriculture production in various forms.
The event will be held at the Lamar Community College library from 6:30pm to 8:00 p.m. Commissioner Greenburg’s schedule includes these stops:
1:00-2:00pm Mauch Farms, 36292 CR 7, Lamar; 2:30-3:30pm Colorado Mills, 505 Hickory St, Lamar; 4:00-5:00pm Ragsdale Farms/Stulp Farms, 24247 US-287, Lamar/5:00-6:00pm BBQ at Ragsdale Farms.
