HOLLY’S 17th ANNUAL BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL – JUNE 7, 8, AND 9

 

 

In conjunction with the Holly Days celebration, which commemorates Holly’s recovery from the 1965 flood, the Bluegrass Festival will kick-off FRIDAY NIGHT, JUNE 7th at 6:00 p.m. with the Commercial Club Bar-B-Q and Open Jam Session in Gateway Park. All musicians are welcome to join in. Everyone is invited to come out and listen to some toe-tappin’ music, fellowship, and BBQ. Don’t forget your lawn chairs.

SATURDAY, JUNE 8, the Bluegrass/Country Festival will kick off at 11:00 a.m.

The band schedule for the day is as follows:

11:00 & 4:00—BackCountry

12:00 & 5:00—Stanleytones

1:00 & 1:45— Acme Bluegrass

2:00 & 7:00—Tenderfoot Bluegrass

3:00 & 8:00—Meadow Mountain

The Holly School classes will be serving a great variety of delicious foods. You’ll find not only hamburgers, hot dogs and sloppy joes, but also, pulled pork, smothered burritos, sopapilla cheesecake, nachos, funnel cakes, and many other items to tempt your taste buds. Help support our kids!

SUNDAY MORNING, JUNE 9, at 10:30 a.m. Community Church will be held in the park, sponsored by the Holly Ministerial Alliance and featuring music by Tried by Fire. Lunch will be available following the service.
