Wild West Students Compete in Colby, KS

The Wranglers Pre Team and a few members of the Wranglers Competition Team competed in Colby, Kansas in December of 2018 for the “Shoot for the Stars Invitational”. Gymnasts from Wild West Athletics competing at the event did a phenomenal job.
Brystal Bletzacker of Eads, Co. scored an all around of 38.15 earning her the 1st place Gold Medal in the level 1 age division B. Her highest individual score was a 9.80 on bars earning her the 2nd place Silver Medal. Her highest placing events were vault & beam where she won 1st place Gold Medals.
Jailyn Brandl of Tribune, Ks. scored an all around of 38.90 earning her the 1st place Gold Medal in the level 2 age division C. Her highest individual score was a 9.85 on both vault & bars. She was also named the All Star Level 2 which is the honor of being the highest scoring level 2 at the competition.
Tylee Cavenee of Tribune, Ks. Scored an all around of 37.30 earning her the 1st place Gold Medal in the level 1 recreational age division F. Her highest individual score was a 9.75 on floor. Her highest placing events were vault, beam, & floor where she placed 1st earning the Gold Medals.
Sakura Cole of Las Animas, Co. scored an all around of 37.65 earning her 4th place in the level 1 age division C. Her highest scoring event and individual score was a 9.85 on vault earning her the second place Silver medal.
Jesenia Gamboa of Granada, Co. scored an all around of 38.70 earning her the 1st place Gold Medal in the level 1 recreational age division H. Her highest individual score was a 9.90 on vault. Her highest event placing was 1st place Gold Medals on all 4 events, vault, bars, beam, & floor. This was Miss Gamboa’s first competition!
Zailey Lozano of Holly, Co. scored an all around of 36.85 earning her the 1st place Gold Medal in the level 1 recreational age division B. Her highest individual score was a 9.70 on bars where she earned the 1st place Gold Medal. Her highest placing events were vault, bars, & beam where she placed 1st. This was Miss Lozano’s first competition!
River Loader of Manter, Ks. Scored an all around of 37.75 earning her the 1st place Gold Medal in the level 2 age division D. Her highest individual score was a 9.65 on floor earning her 2nd place. Her highest placing events were 1st place Gold Medal on both bars and beam.
Priya Mayjoy of Lamar, Co. scored an all around of 36.55 placing 3rd in the level 1 recreational division age H. Her highest individual score was a 9.4 on bars and her highest placing was 3rd Bronze medal on Beam. This was Miss Mayjoy’s first competition!
Hensley Mireles of Lamar, Co. scored an all-around of 36.95 placing 3rd in the level 3 age C division. Her highest individual score was a 9.5 on vault and her highest placing was 1st on Bars.
Elizabeth Mortimeyer of Lamar, Co. scored an all around of 36.65 placing 2nd in the level 1 recreational age division E. Her highest individual score was a 9.5 on bars earning her a 2nd place Silver Medal. Her highest placing events were on vault & floor where she earned the 1st place Gold Medals.
Abygail Stevens of Lamar, Co. scored an all around of 38.35 earning her the 1st place Gold Medal in the level 1 age division D. Her highest individual score and highest event placing was a 9.75 on vault earning her the 1st place Gold Medal. She also placed 1st earning her a Gold Medal on Bars and Floor.
Kali Stevens of Lamar, Co. scored an all around of 38.40 earning her the 1st place Gold Medal in the level 1 age division E. Her highest individual score was a 9.80 on beam earning her the 1st place Gold Medal. Her highest placing events were bars and beam where she earned 1st place Gold Medals.
Lylah Reinhardt of Wiley, Co. scored an all around of 37.15 placing 2nd in the level 1 recreational age division H. Her highest individual score was a 9.55 on bars. Her highest event placings were vault, bars, & beam where she earned 2nd place Silver Medals. This was Miss Reinhardt’s first competition!
Jocelyn Tedder of Walsh, Co. scored an all around of 36.45 earning her the 2nd place Silver Medal in the level 1 recreational age division I. Her highest individual score and highest placing event was a 9.40 on floor earning her the 1st place Gold Medal. This was Miss Tedder’s first competition!
