Full Operations Resume at Bent’s Old Fort National Historic Site and Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site

La Junta, CO – With the enactment of the continuing resolution, staff at Bent’s Old Fort National Historic Site has resumed regular operations as of this morning, January 28th. Bent’s Old Fort National Historic Site and Park employees are happy to be back at work, serving the American people and welcoming visitors to their National Parks.
Eads, CO – With the enactment of the continuing resolution, Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site resumed regular operations at 8:00 am Monday, January 28, 2019. The park is open Thursday through Monday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
