Lamar Elks Honors the September Students of the Month

The new school years brings excitement and hope. Those who excel academically we honor every month with a dinner and awards ceremony recognizing them for their achievements. This is a part of the Elks continuing tradition of making a difference in our Lamar community.

The September Students of the Month are: Elaine Berndt and Brandon Martinez. Elaine is an 8th grader at Lamar Middle School. She is having an amazing year so far. Her hobbies are spending time with her two sisters and socializing with her friends.

Brandon is an 8th grader at Lamar Middle School. He enjoys playing sports and spending time with his friends. Both students are examples of those who excel academically. The Elks recognizes these efforts to make our community a better place for everyone. This is a small part of how we care and share.
