A Memorial Mass for longtime Las Animas, Colorado resident, Delfino Martinez will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 with Father Henry Wertin officiating. Rosary/Scripture Service will be held prior the Mass at 8:30 a.m.  Inurnment will take place in the Bent/Las Animas Cemetery.

Delfino Martinez was born on September 24, 1941 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Raymond Martinez and Barbara (Martinez) Magana. He passed away on July 11, 2018 in Las Animas, Colorado at the age of 76.

Delfino is survived by his wife, Mary Martinez of Las Animas, Colorado; children, Victor Martinez of Pueblo, Freddy (Christine) Martinez of Las Animas, Colorado, Steve Martinez of Pueblo, and Richard Martinez of Las Animas, CO; eight grandchildren, Victor, Dereck, Sharol, Amber, Steven, Raquel, Alyssa, and Anthony; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Joe, Sammy, Lillian, Dorothy, Louie, Chendo, Irene, Rita, Jessie, Mary Ann, Chris, Ruben, and Michelle; many other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Magana; grandparents, Delfino and Barbarita Martinez; and siblings, Frank, Robert, and Phyllis.
