Veteran’s Mobile Center Postpones June 22nd Lamar Visit

The planned visit by the Mobile Vet Center out of Pueblo on Friday, June 22^nd at Walmart in Lamar has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.  The Mobile Vet Center serves as a traveling office to accommodate local veterans on issues of concern to them.

Gary Harbert, Prowers County VA representative, explained that the Mobile Center has been reassigned to another location in eastern Colorado.  “I plan to have a separate booth set up at the Center when it’s in town that will serve as a ‘meet and greet’ for veterans and we’ll offer some snacks and information for them,” he explained.  Harbert said as soon as he has an update on the Lamar location, he’ll inform local media.
