Marian O. Branson…October 28, 1934 – April 14, 2018

Marian O. Branson, 83, peacefully passed from this life to the next on Saturday, April 14, 2018. Marian was born October 28, 1934, the tenth of thirteen children, to Albert J. and Marie (Bender) Neuharth in McClusky, ND.

Marian attended school in McClusky graduating in 1951. When Marian was a freshman in high school she was diagnosed with Polio.  Although Polio left her to permanently use a crutch and later a scooter to get around, her faith in Jesus gave her the perseverance to overcome many limitations and obstacles.

After high school she was employed by the Sheridan County Welfare Department as an office manager for many years. On March 21, 1974 she was united in marriage to Robert Branson.  They continued to live in several places in North Dakota while Robert pastored churches.  They later moved to Las Animas, CO making this their home.  Marian has resided at the Bent County Nursing Home for the past several years.

Marian is survived by sisters, Tee Holcomb of Great Falls, MT and Evelyn (Carl) Peter of Valley City, ND; brothers, Robert Neuharth of Minot, ND and Alvin (Eunice) Neuharth of Bismarck, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

Marian was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; sisters, Helen, Clara, Gladys, and Edna; and brothers, Edwin, Emil, Herb, and Elmer.

A memorial service will be held in McClusky, ND at a later date.
