Community invited to meet new LCC Vice President Dr. Lisa Schlotterhausen

(Lamar, Colorado; March 30, 2018) Lamar Community College will be hosting a meet and greet reception for Dr. Lisa Schlotterhausen, the new Vice President for Academic and Student Services. The community is invited to attend the come-and-go reception, which will be held on April 24 from 4:30-6:00pm in the Buchanan Events Room (Trustees Building).
Dr. Schlotterhausen, who follows Vice President Cheryl Sanchez who retired in January, will assume her role at LCC the week before the reception on April 16.
“Thank you for welcoming me to Lamar and LCC!” she said of the upcoming reception. “I am excited to begin my work and get to know the students, employees and community of Lamar and the surrounding region.”
Dr. Schlotterhausen comes to LCC with a wealth of experience. Most recently, she has served as the Interim Dean of Academic Affairs at Riverland Community College in Austin, Minnesota, and she has served more than ten years as a dean in community colleges in the Minnesota State System. In addition, she is an Academic Quality Improvement (AQIP) peer reviewer and has served as an accreditation liaison for the Higher Learning Commission.
