Mass of Christian Burial for Christina Fulton will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Las Animas, Colorado with Father Henry Wertin officiating. Interment will follow in the Bent/Las Animas Cemetery. Rosary will be held prior to the Mass at 10:00 a.m.. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Horber Funeral Chapel in Las Animas, CO.
Christina Ann (Ward) Fulton was born on April 5, 1943 in Chivington, Colorado to Willard and Iva (Kendall) Ward. Christina loved anything involving her yard. She loved flowers, gardening, and yard work. She was overjoyed by her grandchildren, and often crocheted them blankets. She loved cooking for her family and especially loved their Sunday dinners. Christina loved crafting, scrapbooking, crossword puzzles, and last but certainly not least, her dogs. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a volunteer at the nursing home, and also a volunteer cook at the preschool. Christina passed away on April 16, 2018 in Las Animas, Colorado at the age of 75.
Christina is survived by her children, Vivian (Steve) Noble of Las Animas, CO, Ben (Cindy) Miller of Las Animas, CO, Troy (Lisa) Miller of Las Animas, CO, Keith Miller of Las Animas, CO; siblings, Alta Hubbard of Avondale, CO, Carol Nerrit of Elkhart, KS, Helen Sparks of Greeley, CO; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Fulton in 2017; her parents; brothers, Jimmy, Gene, and Harold; and sisters, Mary, Juanita, and Lila.
