Sharon Abdulla…May 28, 1943 – March 31, 2018

Memorial services for Sharon Abdulla will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Horber Funeral Chapel in Las Animas, CO with Pastor Diane Hutson officiating. Inurnment will take place immediately following in the Bent/Las Animas Cemetery. Per Sharon’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation.

Sharon Kay Abdulla was born on May 28, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Otis and Ocie L. (Fain) Jones. Sharon’s most loved hobbies included crafting and crocheting. She passed away at her home in Las Animas, CO. on March 31, 2018 at the age of 74.

Sharon is survived by her sons, John (Debbie) Abdulla of Las, Animas, CO, Matthew (Rhonda) Abdulla of Denver, CO, Troy (Crystal) Abdulla of Las Animas, CO; daughter, Sandra (Jess) Magana of Pueblo, CO; sisters, Lucy Alvarez of Lawton, OK, and Veronica Bishop of Louisville, KY; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Abdulla; and 2 brothers, Doug Jones and Raymond Jones.
