Drug Arrests for Two Lamar Residents

The Drug Task Force comprised of the Prowers, Kiowa, Cheyenne, and Baca Counties Sheriffs Offices filed charges on James Douglas Rose, 50, of Lamar, CO. After an investigation resulted in a search warrant of his residence on 12-14-2017. The search warrant revealed suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and other items of evidence. Rose was charged with the crimes related to drugs and firearms. A parole hold was also placed on Rose by the Colorado Department of Corrections. Bond set by a Judge at that time was No Bond.

Charges stemming from the prior investigation were obtained in an Arrest Warrant for Rose on 12-29-2017. The warrant for Unlawful Distribution or Sale of Methamphetamine and Heroin, a Drug Felony 2 and DF3, Possession of those Controlled Substances DF4 x2, two counts of Special Offender DF1, for the drugs and firearms and 5 counts of Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender. Bond for this warrant is also a No Bond until seen at his first appearance in Court. Rose is still currently being held in the Prowers County Jail on the prior charges.

Marin Elizabeth Lubbers, 35, of Lamar was also charged based on the evidence found during the Search Warrant. She is still incarcerated in the PCJ on a $75,000 bond for those charges.

All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in Court.
