After a day of tough competition, the final results showed that Lamar High School’s A Team had come out on top with 77 points, followed by Walsh High School’s A Team with 59 points, and Genoa-Hugo High School’s A Team with 57.

President Lujan was on hand to present each of the top three teams with a plaque and medallions for each team member.  In addition to their team plaque, Lamar A was presented with the traveling trophy and each team member was given a $250 scholarship to attend Lamar Community College.

Lamar Community College congratulates all the teams in attendance on their performance at the Knowledge Bowl.

LCC would also like to thank all volunteers who donated their time including community members as well as LCC staff and students.  Without the cheerful dedication of these volunteers, hosting the Knowledge Bowl would not be possible.
