Drug Arrest Charges Filed Against Cope

Following an investigation by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Todd Cope, 35, of Lamar, Colorado was arrested this past Friday, September 8th.
The arrest charges against Cope include: allegations of bribery, a Class 3 felony; possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, a Class 3 drug felony; possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 drug felony; and official misconduct, a Class 2 misdemeanor.
Cope is currently free of a $10,000 bond and an advisement hearing has been scheduled for 8:30am on Thursday, September 14th.
Criminal charges are merely a formal accusation that an individual has committed a crime. A defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
