Lamar Police Announce: Arrest Made in April Robbery

On Monday, April 24, 2017 at approximately 3:00 AM a robbery was reported in the 1100 block of South Main Street, Lamar, CO. Officers responded, but were unable to apprehend the subject at the time.

After an extensive investigation detectives of the Lamar Police Department, with assistance from the 15th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, were able to identify a subject in connection with the robbery.

An arrest warrant was issued on Monday,  7/17/2017 for Skye Bieker (25), of Hartman, CO, in connection with this crime. Charges in this case include Aggravated Robbery, Robbery, Menacing and Theft. Bieker was later arrested by the Prowers County Sheriff’s Office and transported to the Prowers County Jail and is currently being held on a $20,000.00 cash only bond.

The charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
