Executive Director Kim Hunter Reed Embarks on Colorado Campus Tours

DENVER – March 13, 2017: Dr. Kim Hunter Reed, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Higher Education kicks off a public campus tour this week with a first stop to the Colorado School of Mines in Golden.
Reed plans to visit all Colorado public institutions of higher education in the coming months, where she’ll meet with presidents, students, faculty, administrators and community members. She’ll tour the campuses and hold roundtable discussions, igniting conversation about the higher education landscape, issues, and trends. She’ll also be available at certain locations to meet with local media. If members of the media are interested in participating in any of the meetings, please contact Megan McDermott.

o 2-2:50 p.m. Teacher Education Alliance, Mines-UNC Partnership (TEAM-UP and TEAM-UP students)
o 3-3:30 p.m. Trefny Innovation Instruction Center
o 3:45-4:30 p.m. Re-inventing the Nation’s Urban Water Infrastructure research center.
