Donald Lee Morton, Jr….May 15, 1956 – March 10, 2017

Graveside services for Donald Morton will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Bent/Las Animas Cemetery in Las Animas, Colorado. Pastor Diane Hutson will officiate. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Horber Funeral Chapel in Las Animas, Colorado.

Donald Lee Morton, Jr. was born on May 15, 1956 in Las Animas, Colorado to Donald Lee and Ruth Jane (Sarah) Morton and passed away on March 10, 2017 in Las Animas at the age of 60.

Don was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He treasured the company of his many friends and never passed up the opportunity to have fun.

Donald is survived by his wife, Lisa Rheinheimer of Las Animas, Colorado; sisters, Prutriecca Tucker of Rosebury, Oregon, Linda Morlan of Las Animas, Colorado; step-children, Terry Rheinheimer of Oklahoma, Alicia (Daniel) Camacho of Canon City, Colorado; grandchildren, Austin Camacho, Jaya Camacho, Carson Rheinheimer; nieces and nephews, Amy (Erine) Marfil, Jay (Randa) Morlan, Denice (Don) Harmon, Dean (Debbie) Tucker, and Mark (Jodie) Tucker; as well as many other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Lee and Ruth Jane (Sarah) Morton; and first wife, Jinger L. Morton.
