Lamar Police Make Drug Related Arrest

On Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at approximately 5:00 PM, officers from the Lamar Police Department were notified of a possible drug transaction which was going to occur in the City of Lamar. Officers set up surveillance based on the caller’s information.
Officers contacted Rosalinda Jurado, 32, of Walsh, CO, and arrested her for possession with intent to distribute a schedule II controlled substance. Jurado is held at Prowers County Jail on a $75,000 any type bond. Every person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The Lamar Police Department would like to thank the caller for providing the information which assisted in making the arrest.
