Car Wash Suspects Nabbed

On Wednesday, July 27, 2016 officers of the Lamar Police Department responded to a break in at the Double K Carwash in the 300 block of East Olive Street. Officers found suspects had gained entry into the change machines of the business.

The suspects caused approximately $1,500 in damage to the property and coins and cash were reported missing from the change machines. Items of evidence were later located in the suspects’ vehicle and seized.

Arrest warrants were obtained for all four subjects and they were transported to the Prowers County Jail, where they are each being held on a $20,000 cash, surety or property bond. Every person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
