The 15th Judicial District Nominating Commission is set to meet May 23 to interview and select nominees for appointment by the governor to the office of county judge for Prowers County.  

The vacancy will be created by the retirement of Judge Larry Stutler, who plans to retire July 1. To be eligible, the applicant must be a qualified elector of Prowers County. The annual salary for this position is $83,856. Applications are available at courts.state.co.us/Careers/
