Lamar Police Make Drug Arrest

On May 3, 2016 officers from the Lamar Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of North 11th Street while investigating a possible stolen vehicle.
Officers contacted the driver and his driver’s license was suspended. While conducting an inventory of the vehicle, officers located items related to distribution of illegal narcotics and use of illegal narcotics.
The driver was arrested for possession and distribution of a controlled substance and other charges. Bond was set at $75,000. Every person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
