A celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident, Wade F. Heinson will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Lamar Christian Church with Ian Blacker officiating.
Visitation for Wade will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.
Wade was born on July 8, 1931 at Meade, Kansas to Jacob D. and Vera C. (Porterfield) Heinson and passed away on March 21, 2016 at his home in Lamar at the age of 84.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Celia Kennedy.
Wade is survived by his wife, Ida Heinson of the family home in Lamar; children, Steve Heinson and Theresa Emick both of Lamar and Rhonda (Richard) Wollert of Wiley; six grandchildren, Chris (Deb) Emick of Rocky Ford, CO; Tia (Colbey) Christie of Lamar; Preston (Danielle Jubak) Emick; Heath (Shawna) Wollert and Shane Wollert all of Wiley and Skye (Ryan) Lown of Lincoln, CA. He is also survived by his three great grandchildren; nine step great-grandchildren; one brother, Conrad (Ann) Heinson of Omaha, NE as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice and/or Alzheimer’s Association either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
