Chamber of Commerce Cookbook Recipe Request
Barbara Crimond | Mar 24, 2016 | Comments 0
The Lamar Chamber of Commerce is seeking submissions for a Lamar Area Cookbook. Your recipe submission should include a small write up (200 words or less) to accompany your recipe. Submissions can come from your business or organization, your group, your family, or you as an individual. Remember that your submission will be a representation of you or your organization and is a way to share your history and experience of living in Southeastern Colorado, the history of your business, or some other interesting fact about your business or family.
Your recipe should be in one of the following categories: Appetizers & Drinks, Soups & Salads, Breakfast Dishes, Main Dishes, Side Dishes, Wild Game Recipes, BBQ/Tailgating Recipes, or Desserts & Baked Goods.
The recipe must be original – your own recipe and not copied from another cookbook. We ask that your recipe be typed, or written legibly, and accompanied by a signed Recipe Submission Form which you can obtain from our website or at the Lamar Chamber of Commerce Office. We also ask that you limit your submissions to no more than one (or two, possibly three if they are especially delicious) per category. Please consider submitting a healthy recipe as we all work to improve the health of our community.
Please submit your recipes completed and signed Recipe Submission Form and Recipe Release Form, for each submission to the Lamar Chamber of Commerce office, located at 109A East Beech Street, Lamar. Deadline for recipe entries will be April 15, 2016. Questions can be directed to lamarchamberofcommerce@gmail.com Lisa Carder at 719-336-4379 or Lisa Thomas at 719-688-6107.
