Toys for Tots needs donations, volunteers for holiday season

Toys for Tots

The holiday season is just around the corner and Toys for Tots is preparing to bring smiles and Christmas joy to children in our community!  The Toys for Tots workshop starts November 2 and anyone who is interested by donating their time to help is welcomed.  Donations are also needed – the organization gratefully accepts monetary donations and new toy donations for ages newborn through 15 years of age.

Application signups to receive toys will be held November 17-19 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at 500 W. Beech in Lamar.  The Highway Patrol and Port of Entry will be at Walmart on November 21 and November 27 collecting toy donations.  The Toys for Tots bowling tournament will be December 5 at Lamar Lanes.
