Change of address for the 2026 Primary Election
PROWERS COUNTY ANNEX, 1001 S. Main St, Lamar, CO.

June 22nd – June 30th

Ballots will be mailed out the week of June 8-12, 2026, so watch your mail boxes.

DEMOCRATIC, REPUBLICAN, LIBERTARIAN, and UNITY PARTIES
• Will have ballot content for State and/or local candidates.

UNAFFILIATED VOTERS
• You will automatically receive two ballots in your packet, one Democratic ballot
and one Republican ballot.
• Choose ONLY ONE of those ballots to vote. Discard the ballot that you do not
fill out.
• Place your ONE voted ballot in the return envelope.
• Returning both voted ballots will disqualify all of your votes.
• Sign the backside of your return envelope in order for your ballot to count.
• Your choice of ballot to vote in this election will not affiliate you with that
political party. However, it will be public record for which party ballot you
voted, but not who you voted for.
• Unaffiliated voter, upon request, may request a Unity party ballot, but the
Libertarian party requires you to change your party affiliation first in order to
vote in the Libertarian party primary.

UNITY Party Voters
• Unity party affiliated voters will automatically receive a ballot in the mail if you
have an active voter registration status
LIBERTARIAN Party Voters
• Libertarian party affiliated voters will automatically receive a ballot in the mail if
you have an active voter registration status
We encourage you to return your voted ballot as soon as possible. If by mail return it
to 301 S. Main St., Ste. 210, Lamar, CO 81052 or use the secure ballot drop box located
in the parking lot on the east side of the county courthouse building, which is open
24/7 or the VSPC located at the Prowers County Annex, 1001 S. Main St., 2nd Floor,Lamar CO.

Please do not drop your ballot in the white box that is sitting in the Annex Building
parking lot. That white box is for public assistance only.

 

VSPC will be open Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. for replacement
ballots or to register to vote at the Prowers County Annex, 1001 S. Main St, Lamar CO.

Ballot Drop Box open 24/7 at the Prowers County Courthouse, east side parking lot,
301 S. Main St., Lamar, CO.
