Media Release
Deputy Freouf arrested Darrick Shores, 35 of Pawhuska OK, for impersonating a peace officer and illegal use of red/blue lights. Darrick is being held at the Prowers County Jail on a $2,000, Any Type Bond.
It is unknown if Shores is the impersonator from the prior incident or if we have a new, separate, incident. Please still be aware of contacts by officers or deputies and report anything suspicious. We would have been unable to locate and apprehend this individual if it had not been for an alert driver and a timely notification. Sheriff Zordel noted, ” The Lamar Police Department assisted us in getting the vehicle stopped as it left Westbound out of Granada and was contacted by LPD, until a deputy could arrive on scene.”
Thanks,
Sam Zordel
