Wylee Wollert announces candidacy for Prowers County Assessor

Wylee Wollert

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I am excited to announce my candidacy for Prowers County Assessor. For nearly two years, I have had the privilege of working in the Prowers County Assessor’s Office, training and working side by side with current Assessor Andy Wyatt and the Deputy Assessor. This hands-on experience has allowed me to learn the responsibilities of the office from the inside out and to develop a deep respect for the important role it plays in serving our community.

In addition to my on-the-job training, I have completed all required education and successfully passed the state exam to earn my Ad Valorem license. This achievement reflects my commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and maintaining the high standards necessary to serve the public with integrity and competence.

My background in business management, financial accounting, payroll, and auditing has strengthened my attention to detail and my understanding of complex financial systems. Combined with my education in mortgage loan origination and years of leadership experience, I bring a strong commitment to transparency, accuracy, and professional service.

I was born and raised around Wiley and have lived near Holly for the past 20 years. I am a proud parent of two children—my daughter attends junior high at Holly School, and my son is currently attending college at Kansas State University.

I take great pride in being kind, thoughtful, and approachable. I believe public service should always be rooted in respect and fairness. The Assessor’s Office is, and will continue to be, a place where residents feel comfortable asking questions, confident in the work being done, and assured they are being treated with honesty and care.

If elected, I promise to bring dedication, integrity, and heart to the Prowers County Assessor’s Office. I will continue to listen, work hard, and serve the citizens of Prowers County with professionalism and fairness. Because of my past and current work in the Assessor’s Office, the transition will be seamless.

I would be honored to earn your support and your vote and I look forward to connecting with you in the weeks and months ahead.

With sincere appreciation,

Wylee Wollert
