Prowers Medical Center welcomes the hospital’s 2026 New Year Baby on January 1

Esciensta Emberlynn Triana, 2026 New Year Baby born at Prowers Medical Center

Prowers Medical Center was excited to welcome the 2026 New Year Baby!  Esciensta Emberlynn Triana was born  January 1, 2026 at 6:51 a.m., weighing six pounds, five ounces and measuring 18-3/4 inches.  She is the daughter of Embree Gallegos and Javier Triana of Las Animas, Colorado.  Maternal grandparents are Bridget Gallegos and Felipe Gallegos.  Paternal grandmother is Vicki Triana.  Dr. Forseter had the honor of being the attending physician for Esciensia’s birth.

To celebrate Esciensta’s arrival, the PMC team put together a New Year baby basket and wants to thank the local businesses who generously donated items – Brew Unto Others, Bright Side Nutrition, Scooter’s Coffee, and The Gift Shoppe at PMC.

December of 2025 was a record-breaking month at PMC’s New Beginnings Birth Center with 27 babies being born.  They are honored to support so many growing families.
