Samuel J. Rodgers…February 14, 1943 – November 10, 2019

Graveside memorial services for Samuel J. Rodgers will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Fort Lyon National Cemetery in Las Animas, Colorado. Pastor Diane Hutson will officiate.

Samuel Rodgers was born on February 14, 1943 in Columbia, South Carolina to Perry and Alberta (Baldridge) Rodgers. He passed away on November 10, 2019 at Pioneer Health Care Center in Rocky Ford, Colorado at the age of 76.

Sam is survived by his children, Teresa Rodgers of Denver, Colorado, Kenneth (Sheila) Rodgers of Lakewood, Colorado, Becky Rodgers of Las Animas, Colorado, and Jessica Rodgers of Rocky Ford, Colorado; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; bother, Bob Rodgers; sisters, Rosemary Greene and Robbie Rodgers; many other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda Rodgers; and an infant brother.
