ELECTION NEWS: Just Four Days Left

27.69% of voted ballots have now been returned to the County Clerk’s Office and there’s only have 4 days left to return your voted ballot! If you haven’t received a ballot in the mail you will need to come into the County Clerk’s Office for a ballot replacement right away.
Drop off your voted ballot at the County Courthouse or in the Ballot Drop Box located in the parking lot on the east side of the courthouse building as soon as possible. The sooner the ballots are accepted and counted the sooner our office can provide election results on election night after 7:00 p.m.
The Ballot Drop Box is open 24/7 but, will be closed at 7:00 p.m., on election night, November 5, 2019. So, get your ballot voted and dropped soon.
Election hours for the Prowers County Clerk’s Office for Saturday through Tuesday for return of mail-in ballots; issue replacement ballots; register to vote; update address; or update your name or to simply drop off your voted ballot are as follows:
Saturday, November 2, 2019
8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Monday, November 4, 2019
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and open through the lunch hour.
Tuesday, November 5, 2019 (ELECTION DAY)
7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and open through the lunch hour
REMEMBER: Postmarks dates do not count and your ballot must be in the possession of the Prowers County Clerk’s Office by 7:00 P.M., November 5, 2019.
ELECTION RESULTS:
Unofficial election results will be posted Election night, November 5, 2019 after all ballot tabulating is complete. Unofficial results will be posted on the Prowers County website at: www.prowerscounty.net and on the Secretary of State’s website-election night reporting.
