Barbara Coats – May 22, 1933- October 15,2019

Graveside Services for Barbara Coats will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Bent/Las Animas Cemetery in Las Animas, CO with Pastor Diane Hutson officiating. Per Barbara’s request, there will be no visitation.

Barbara (Corner) Coats was born in Atchison, Kansas to Raymond and Emma (Manning) Corner on May 22, 1933. She was the youngest of 3 girls. Barbara spent her youth growing up in Las Animas, Colorado where she met and married Harvey Lee Coats. They were married for 61 years and had three children, Michale, Linda, and Douglas). After moving around the world as a military family, they settled in Pueblo, Colorado for their retirement. After a long illness she left this world on October 15, 2019 in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 86.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harvey Coats and son, Douglas Coats.

Barbara lovingly leaves behind her children, Michale (Diane) Coats and Linda Graham; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kristi Coats; many other relatives and a host of friends.
