Stephen Noble…August 12, 1955 – September 3, 2019

Funeral Services for Las Animas, CO resident, Steve Noble will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2019 at the United Methodist Church in Las Animas, CO. Pastor Rod Coulter will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bent/Las Cemetery in Las Animas, CO. Visitation for Steve will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Horber Funeral Chapel in Las Animas, CO.

Stephen Allen Noble, affectionately known as Steve, was born on August 12, 1955 in Dallas, TX to Audrey Dean and Eula Mae (Smithers) Noble. He spent 20 years in the Air Force and retired as a Tech Sergeant (TSGT). During his time in the Air Force, he deployed to Operation Desert Storm. He spent 15 years in the Colorado Department of Corrections where he retired as a case manager. He helped open and close the facility at Ft. Lyon. Steve spent 5 years working at AVCF. He loved his plants and his garden. He was always growing vegetables even though he didn’t eat them. His admiration for his animals and farm showed every day. Steve passed away at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO on September 3, 2019 at the age of 64.

Steve is survived by his wife, Vivian Noble of Las Animas, CO; daughter, Toni (Tylor) Laurent of La Junta, CO; sons, Zack Daze of Las Animas, CO, Eric (Theresa Montgomery) of Decatur, AL, Jack (Valerie) Herman of Huntsville, AL; brothers, Dennis (Lisa) Noble of Petty, TX, Roger Noble of Dallas, TX; sister, Kathy Randolph-Noble of Paris, TX; 4 grandchildren, Chloe Laurent, Ethan Noble, Nicholas Herman and Sylvia Grace Herman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Audrey Dean and Eula Mae Noble; brothers, Jimmy Don Noble, David Noble, and Michael Noble.
