Tito A. Ceballos…April 28, 1955 – August 25, 2019

 

 

 

Funeral Services for Tito Ceballos will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at the First Christian Church in Holly, CO with Pastor Aviel Alvarez officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.

Tito Alfaro Ceballos was born on April 28, 1955 in Provenir D. B Chihuahua to Santos and Mercedes (Alfaro) Ceballos. He passed away with his family by his side on August 25, 2019 at Prowers Medical Center in Lamar, CO at the age of 64.

Tito and his family lived in New Mexico from 1976 until moving to Muleshoe, TX in 1982. They then relocated to Oklahoma City for a few years before moving to Colorado where Tito began working for Thompson Farms until he retired.  Tito was a gifted woodworker, especially at making wagons.  He also enjoyed working on cars, vacationing with his family, playing music on his guitar, and joy riding. Tito was well known in his community for his delicious burritos.  Tito was a member of the First Christian Church in Holly and was baptized in 1999.  He often filled the pulpit as a lay minister.

Tito is survived by his wife, Maria Ceballos of the family home in Holly, CO; children, Lucero Ceballos of Holly, CO, Angelica (Cassidy) Neugebauer of Holly, CO, Erica (Samuel) Rodriguez of Syracuse, KS, Marisol (David) Camacho of Uvalde, TX, Laura (Danny) Venegas of Holly, CO, Oscar Duarte of Holly, CO, Saul (Tina) Pizarro of Granada, CO, and Manuel (Norma) Perez of Holly, CO; siblings, Jose (Mireya) Ceballos of OK, Moise (Veronica) Ceballos of OK, Elivara (Carlos) Castro of OK, Abel (Emilia) Ceballos of El Paso, TX, Esther (Juan) Gonzales of Mexico, and Ruben (Martha) Ceballos of Mexico; 30 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Mercedes Ceballos; sister, Rosa Ceballos De Almendarez; and brother, Pablo Sanchez-Alfaro.
