Lamar Honkers at Dub Burgers and Tail Wag‘N Grooming

The Lamar Honkers began 2019 with two visits to local businesses this past Friday, January 25^th.  First stop was Dub Burgers on South Main Street in Lamar.  Zack and Heather Whisenand have been all over town with their rolling restaurant, but have set up a semi-permanent location just north of Crop Risk Advisors.  “We’re interested in a more permanent location,” said Zack Whisenand.  Dub Burgers is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11am to 2pm to catch the lunch crowd and again from 5pm to 8pm for evening folks who enjoy specialty burgers and fries.  The new business can be found on their facebook page, Dub Burgers, where they can post a different location if they’re traveling.  Call 719-688-3702 or 691-0987 for more information.

Next stop was to downtown Main Street Lamar for a visit with Tanish Kisamore, owner and operator of Tail Wan’N Grooming at 108 South Main. Tanisha offers a top to bottom grooming service for pets and even provides a do-it-yourself set-up for owners who prefer a personal touch with their pooch.  Open Monday from 10am to 2pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 8am to 5pm, Friday from 8am to 4pm and closed Saturday and Sunday.  Call for information or appointment at 719-336-2444 or email Tanisha at tailwagngrooming@gmail.com.
