Jo Ellen Ausmus…November 18, 1938 – September 18, 2018

A celebration of life for former Lamar, Colorado resident, currently of La Junta, Colorado, Jo Ellen Ausmus will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Greg Bullock officiating.

Visitation for Jo will be held from 4:00PM until 7:00PM on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Peacock Family Chapel.

Jo was born on November 18, 1938 at Liberal, Kansas to Edmond P. and Evelyn Louise (Lemmon) Wright and passed away on September 18, 2018 at her home in La Junta, Colorado at the age of 79.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Ausmus, her parents, one sister, Mary Havens and her brother-in-law, Jim Havens.

Jo is survived by her two daughters, Sandy (Danny) Cumming of Littleton, CO and Lisa Nolder of La Junta, CO, step-daughter, Tomie K. Ward of Amarillo, TX, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.

Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
