ELECTION NEWS:
Important information regarding the 2018 Republican and Democratic Party Precinct Caucus:
- January 8th – Last day to affiliate with the Republican or Democratic Party in order to vote in the March 6th Party Precinct Caucuses.
- February 5th – Last day to update your voter registration address to participate in the March 6th Party Precinct Caucus.
- March 6th – Democratic & Republican Party Precinct Caucus Day.

Method of Voting:
2018 Primary & General Elections will be by mail ballot delivery, means an election for which eligible (active) electors may receive a ballot by mail and vote by mailing those ballots back or depositing the ballot at a drop-off location.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR 2018 PRIMARY & GENERAL ELECTION:

- Monday, June 4-7, 2018: Ballots will be mailed to all active eligible electors. Also made available 24/7, is our drive by/walk up ballot drop box in the east entrance of the courthouse parking lot.
- Tuesday, June 26, 2018: Primary Election Day (Prowers County Clerk’s Office is open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (No other polling place locations will be available).
- Monday, October 15-19, 2018: Ballots will be mailed to all active eligible electors. Also made available 24/7, is our drive by/walk up ballot drop box in the east entrance of the courthouse parking lot.
- Tuesday, November 6, 2018: ELECTION DAY (Prowers County Clerk’s Office is open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (No other polling place locations will be available).
- Return mail ballots, with appropriate postage or hand deliver to: Prowers County Clerk’s Office, 301 S. Main St., Ste. 210, Lamar, CO 81052.
